Our selection follows the weekly catch, so what you find in the shop changes through the year. Here are the seasons worth knowing.

Late summer: crayfish (August to September)

Swedish crayfish are the star of the kräftskiva, the crayfish party. Our crayfish are available from August to the end of September.

Autumn: Swedish lobster

The Swedish lobster fishery opens on the first Monday after 20 September at 07:00. Recreational fishing ends on 30 November; professional fishermen may fish a little longer. It is a short season, so Swedish lobster is a real autumn treat. Read how it compares in Swedish or Canadian lobster?

From November: halibut

Halibut is available year-round, and its prime season starts in November.

All year: fish, shrimps, herring and roe

Many favourites are part of the weekly selection nearly all year: fresh fish fillets, cooked shrimps, herring, gravlax and Kalix löjrom. Exact availability depends on the catch and the supplier, so check the shop for the current week.

How we choose

We pick our seafood at the Gothenburg fish auction on Wednesday morning, and our own truck brings it to Switzerland. Read the full journey in from the Gothenburg fish auction to your table.

Order by Monday 22:00 for delivery on Friday (CHF 29) or pickup in Zollikon or Morges. See delivery and the FAQ.
