Sold by weight – CHF 118 per kg. Choose how much monkfish you want in steps of 100 g, from 300 g to 2 kg; need more, simply increase the quantity. We cut and pack your fish fresh on Thursday morning, straight after the Gothenburg fish auction.
We always aim for the exact weight you order. Every piece is cut by hand, so it can differ slightly, and when it does, you usually get a little more rather than less.
The fresh monkfish fillets from Gothenburg, Sweden, are large and a great choice year-round. Firm, meaty and almost lobster-like in texture.
Great baked in the oven with lemon, salt, pepper and olive oil, or grilled with a BBQ marinade, smoked paprika and pepper. Serve with roasted vegetables and a cold crème fraîche sauce.
At the auction we inspect the boxes left in the early morning by the fishing boats and select the freshest and finest monkfish.
