The fresh whole turbot from Gothenburg, Sweden, is of exceptional quality, freshness and size. The turbot is an exclusive fish and the Swedish turbot is very firm and of incredible standard due to the perfect conditions for the fish to prosper and become strong.
The fresh whole turbot is easily prepared by roasting in the oven. Season the fish with lemon, salt, and pepper, and put some butter on the baking tray. Roast in a preheated oven at 100°C for 2h. Enjoy with our roe sauce or a fresh cold crème fraîche sauce.
At the auction, we inspect the various boxes left in the early morning by the fishing boats in Gothenburg, Sweden. We then select the freshest and finest turbot of the highest quality by meticulously inspecting the fish in the boxes.
